Frederick Hertz

Frederick Hertz is an attorney working in Oakland, California, with a private practice emphasizing real property transactions and litigation and land use development issues. He is "of counsel" to the Law Firm of Margolin & Biatch.

Hertz has served as Chair of Oakland's Landmark Preservation Advisory Board and has been active in historic preservation efforts in Oakland for more than ten years. He has a Master's Degree in Urban Geography from the Unviersity of California with a special interest in Sacred Geography and places of mass pilgrimage.

He graduated from the University of California School of Law and teaches at Golden Gate School of Law and St. Mary's College.
