Paul Saunders

Paul Saunders is currently an investment research analyst at Meerkat Management, a technology hedge fund based in San Francisco. Until January, 2002, Mr. Saunders worked for five years at SoundView Technology Group, focusing on information security companies. In 2001 he was recognized by the Wall Street Journal as a "Best on the Street" analyst. Prior to his career in technology investing, Mr. Saunders worked for 15 years at various Silicon Valley companies, including Sun Microsystems, in both engineering and product marketing positions. Mr. Saunders holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management. In his free time Mr. Saunders enjoys cycling and windsurfing. He is also involved with charitable organizations helping Tibetan monks and nuns in India, and disadvantaged children in Viet Nam.
