2008 Sacred Sites Awards

The 2008 Sacred Sites Awards are designed to increase awareness of the state
of international natural and built sacred places. The awards will be given in
three categories: Threatened, Saved and Lost.

about types of sites that may be considered and the variety of threats commonly
faced by sacred sites.
